Somya Public School provides modern computer lab facilities that help students become familiar with technology and develop essential digital skills. With computer-based learning and guidance from trained staff, students get opportunities to explore educational programmes, improve their understanding and build confidence in using computers. Internet-supported learning resources further encourage students to explore knowledge beyond the classroom.
Our library encourages students to discover the joy of reading and develop a lifelong interest in learning. A collection of books across different subjects and age groups gives students access to a variety of information and ideas. Reading resources, periodicals and digital learning opportunities help students expand their knowledge, improve vocabulary and stay connected with the world around them.
Physical education is an important part of student development. Through sports, games and physical activities, students get opportunities to improve fitness, coordination, discipline and teamwork. Activities such as yoga, aerobics, karate and skating encourage students to explore their interests, develop sportsmanship and understand the importance of an active lifestyle.
The school ground provides students with open space for outdoor games, recreation and physical activities. It supports sports participation, group activities and school events while encouraging students to develop confidence, teamwork and a healthy competitive spirit. Outdoor play also gives children an opportunity to enjoy learning and interaction beyond the classroom.
Science learning becomes more engaging when students can explore concepts through practical experiences. The school provides laboratory-based learning opportunities in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Experiments and hands-on activities help students connect theoretical concepts with practical applications, develop observation skills and build a spirit of scientific enquiry.
Convenient school transportation helps students travel between home and school. The school transportation facility is intended to support students and parents with an organised travel arrangement. Supervision and safety awareness are important parts of the school transport experience. Parents can contact the school office to enquire about available routes, timings and transportation details.
